If you already know the basics but want to boost your confidence and enhance your safety on the road, the “King of the Road” online course is perfect for you!
My name is Andrei Bodrov, I’m an advanced motorcycle riding instructor and the creator of the popular “Moto-Control” YouTube channel. With over 200 videos, 170,000+ subscribers, and years of real-life and online coaching experience, I’ve helped riders around the world improve their skills with practical advice and real-world techniques.
The “King of the Road” course is my flagship training program, trusted by riders worldwide who want to master advanced skills and ride safely on public roads.
This course takes your riding to the next level with 40+ targeted exercises, specifically crafted to develop critical skills and turn them into muscle memory. By the end of the program, you’ll be able to react quickly and correctly to any potential danger on the road.
Whether you’re a newer rider looking to build confidence or an experienced rider wanting to refine your techniques, this course gives you the tools to ride with control, safety, and complete confidence.
To achieve our goals, we follow three essential principles:
Our approach is all about mastering practical, real-world skills, not just going through exercises for the sake of it. Each set of exercises is carefully designed to teach you specific techniques that you can confidently apply on the road.
We believe in trackable results. Throughout the course, you won’t just feel a vague sense of improvement—you’ll clearly see the new abilities you’ve acquired. Every step forward will be tangible, giving you proof of your growth as a rider.
Great riding comes from mastering one skill at a time. By isolating and perfecting each technique before moving on to the next, you’ll achieve excellent motorcycle control without feeling overwhelmed.
The lessons are presented in a specific order to ensure you don’t miss any crucial details. Sometimes, even the smallest detail can make a big difference in how effectively you apply your knowledge on the road.
Each week, we’ll roll out a series of lessons, designed to help you build skills step by step.
Theory: At the start of each week, you’ll see which skills we’ll be focusing on, how they apply to real-world riding, and how they work in practice.
Practice: You’ll then put this knowledge to the test with practical exercises that firmly embed these techniques into muscle memory.
In addition to the core exercises (which are required), we offer optional extra drills for those who want to push themselves further and ready for extra challenge.
Each and every exercise will be fully explained – why we are doing it, what are we trying to achieve, what exactly to do with each control, etc.
If you choose “King of the Road” PRO version – you will be able to film your training sessions and submit them for a detailed review. In the end of the course you will have an exam and all your riding progress will be evaluated.
The key difference is that with the Pro version, you’ll film your training sessions and send them to me for a detailed review. This feedback typically leads to better results, but I understand that not everyone has the means to record themselves during training. Choose the version that works best for your situation. The content—exercises, theory, and text field guides—is exactly the same in both the Lite and Pro versions.
Absolutely! While the recommended duration for completing the course is 9 weeks—designed to provide steady, manageable improvement without overwhelming you—you will retain full access to all the course materials indefinitely. This means you can revisit any lesson, exercise, or guide whenever you need a refresher.
While you can skip exercises, I strongly recommend completing them in order. Even if an exercise seems easy and you’re confident you can handle it, try it at least once. If you can do it flawlessly, move on to the next one. However, many students discover that these “simple” exercises are more challenging than they initially appear—and incredibly valuable for building foundational skills.
This course is designed for all road-legal motorcycles. The principles, skills, and techniques taught are universally applicable, no matter what bike you ride. Exercises are provided in five different sizes to accommodate various motorcycle types—just select the one that fits your bike.
You’ll need:
That’s it! Everything is designed to be simple and accessible for riders worldwide.
Hi Andrey! The course is very progressive and instructive. The exercises must be done step by step. At 62 years old, I am going slowly in the program, but I’ve learned a lot.
I feel much more confident in town at slow speeds and can now control my friction zone clutch better. My emergency braking is much better, and my counterbalancing feels more natural.
Now, I’ll continue the course to progress more by redoing the exercises since I can do them more easily. I only regret waiting until I was 62 to take this course! Andrey answers and comments on the videos I sent very quickly and in a friendly way. Thank you very much, Andrey!
I’ve been riding my Harley Sportster for a few years but always felt nervous in tight spaces or during quick stops. After taking the ‘King of the Road’ course, I finally feel in control. The exercises helped me understand how to maneuver my bike safely without feeling overwhelmed.
The videos were super clear, and having Andrey’s feedback on my progress was invaluable. It feels great to know I can stop on a dime and handle unexpected situations with confidence. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to feel safer and more skilled on their bike!
I have done the 'King of the Road PRO' when it first launched. My bike is an Africa Twin DCT, and one of the most important things for me was that I could get feedback on how to do it on a DCT as I don't have a clutch. The feedback I got after uploading videos was golden, and even if I uploaded more than needed for an exercise, I got feedback on all of them.
I've been riding my bike to commute for about 2 years before starting this course, and it really boosted my skills and control. I feel much more comfortable on the bike—unless I have to get to a full stop for longer than a few seconds, I put my feet down.
Turns don’t scare me because I now know tricks to make a turn even when I misjudge it. I always have a way out because I can now do very quick left or right turns, U-turns, and swerves—not just at slow speeds but also at normal speeds.
I would recommend this to everybody who has a license, as this will improve your skill a lot and make it much safer for you to be on the road with your bike.
Speaking from a new rider perspective and as a former student, this course was challenging but a complete game-changer.
I got my endorsement on May 20th and had only 1,000 miles of seat time before taking the June offering. I went from a cocky newbie to a humbled novice, to a confident rider with well over 70 hours of dedicated skills practice and a deep understanding of theory.
Full-lock turns and circles are effortless now. I can flick the bike around and confidently lean it without fear and have seemingly attained a sixth sense when it comes to traction. My front brake control is solid enough to stop in amazingly short distances, and I can even execute rolling stoppies.
Andrey is just as friendly and helpful as you would expect from his YouTube videos. The course content is well-thought-out, concise, and easy to rewatch. Take the course, and if you can, go for the PRO version—it held me to a much higher standard.
Take the course! It’s cheap AF for what it is!
After taking it, I can effortlessly go into full-lock turns, rarely ever put my foot down in traffic or at stops, and go way harder into corners. Heck, I even park my bike at a specific stall at the coffee shop just so I can do a full-lock Japanese police U-turn out of the parking lot—just because I can!
The course is very methodically programmed and dives into subtle nuances of riding. I used to fight my bike and try to power through everything. Now, turning is as simple as a countersteer and letting the bike self-correct. My riding is so much more efficient and effortless.
Quite frankly, Andrey’s course is cheap as hell for what it is. It will make riding much more effortless and enjoyable, and it’ll last your whole riding career. 100% recommend without any doubts.
Man, I’m so glad I bought your 'King of the Road' course! Videos like this make me really understand every little detail. I could do the math myself, but I never thought of actually doing it! Thank you—I love this kind of technical content. You are the man!
I’ve been riding motorcycles for over a decade, but I still learned so much from the 'King of the Road' course. The emphasis on mastering one skill at a time helped me break bad habits I didn’t even realize I had.
For me, the biggest improvement was in my cornering and swerves. I ride a Ducati Monster, and now I feel completely in control, even in tricky situations. Andrey’s teaching style is engaging and supportive—I’d recommend this to anyone who rides, whether you’re new or experienced!
The BEST ever. I cannot tell how much I thank you, Master. This course definitely extends a motorcyclist’s life. I wish it would be a MUST before getting a driving license!
